Medical Assistant

Job description Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers in documenting patient encounters, procedures, and medical histories Accurately transcribe medical information into electronic health records (EHR) systems Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient information Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and complete documentation Prepare and organize patient charts for appointments and procedures Facilitate communication between healthcare providers and patients Requirements Previous experience as a medical assistant and/or a medical scribe or in a similar role is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, negotiable Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Paid training Tuition reimbursement Schedule 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Total Extended Care Services
