Admissions Representative

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Admissions Representative role based at the Independence, OH campus. The Admissions Representative will engage with prospective students via phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person appointments to share program information, answer questions, and guide them through the admissions process. Daily Responsibilities Respond to inquiries via phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person appointments. Conduct admissions interviews and provide campus and program overviews. Communicate admissions requirements, timelines, and next steps clearly. Follow up with prospective students and maintain accurate records in the admissions system. Collaborate with academic, financial aid, and student services teams to support a smooth enrollment experience. Participate in recruiting events, information sessions, and outreach activities. Represent Hondros College of Nursing professionally and student‑centered. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and support a diverse population of prospective students. Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and comfort with phone and virtual interactions. Customer service and student support skills, demonstrating responsiveness, empathy, and a solution‑focused approach. Sales and consultative skills, including experience guiding individuals through decision‑making processes and achieving enrollment or similar goals. Training or coaching skills, with the ability to explain processes, requirements, and next steps in an understandable and encouraging way. Organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple inquiries, follow‑ups, and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with basic office software and student information or CRM systems; comfort learning new technologies and tools. High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., education, business, communications) is preferred.
