CNC Operator - 2nd Shift

Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking a skilled 2nd Shift CNC Operator to join our growing team in Grand Rapids. In this role, you'll help produce high-precision machined parts that support mission-critical applications—while working with advanced CNC equipment and a team that values craftsmanship, continuous improvement, and safety. What You'll Do Operate CNC machines including loading, unloading, and de-burring parts Perform machining operations using hand tools and precision gauges Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and tolerances Perform daily cleaning, light maintenance, and preventative care Maintain accurate machine logs and documentation Monitor equipment performance, tool wear, lubrication levels, and chip removal Maintain a clean, organized workstation Continuously improvement —making work better and faster What Makes You a Great Fit You enjoy fast-paced, hands-on work You're detail-oriented and team-focused You're stay proactive—always ready for the next task You take safety seriously and respect industrial equipment You're passionate about machines, tools, and making things You demonstrate honesty, integrity, and empathy in your work Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2 years CNC machine experience in a production environment Experience with Mazak DMG Mori, or Hurco machines preferred Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for your full shift Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Baseline Technical Skills Comfortable using CNC interfaces systems Skilled at measuring key dimensions using calipers, micrometers, gauges Background in CNC production manufacturing. Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
