This integral position is responsible for overseeing all aspects that relate directly to the field and the general success of a project, with the three key components being SAFETY, QUALITY, & PERFORMANCE. This is a multi-functional position that requires the following skills and knowledge: strong leadership ability, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, problem‑solving, time management, and the ability to follow through with a plan of action. What You'll Do Lead and enforce safety standards across assigned projects, conducting audits, verifying certifications, coordinating inspections, and partnering with company leadership to maintain a proactive safety culture. Oversee and implement the Quality Control Program, ensuring all work meets contract documents, specifications, and GMI standards — with full accountability for final project quality and client acceptance. Conduct routine audits of Superintendents and Foremen to verify safety compliance, quality installation, documentation accuracy, and hazard analysis reporting. Drive project success from kickoff through completion by aligning field leadership with budgets, scope, sequencing, manpower plans, production goals, and scheduling requirements. Monitor and protect project profitability by tracking unit costs, percent‑complete progress, material usage, labor efficiency, and time coding accuracy. Implement and maintain production tracking tools to ensure projects remain on budget and on schedule. Build and assign effective field teams in collaboration with senior leadership, ensuring proper supervision coverage and workforce planning. Manage manpower strategically to avoid inefficiencies, unnecessary overtime, and productivity gaps. Oversee payroll audits, hiring approvals, labor rate alignment, and workforce performance evaluations. Ensure full compliance with contract documents, company standards, and operational procedures across all assigned projects. Maintain oversight of personnel, equipment, materials, subcontractors, vendors, and documentation. Build strong working relationships with General Contractors to support customer satisfaction and repeat business. Identify problems early and take decisive action to protect safety, quality, schedule, and profitability. What We're Looking For Strong experience in the construction field, specifically the drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceiling, and exterior cladding trades.
