Monday - Friday | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Custodial Supervisor to lead evening cleaning operations at a large corporate office facility in the Troy area near the I-75 business corridor.

This is a hands-on leadership role. The Custodial Supervisor will work alongside the cleaning team while helping train employees, monitor quality, maintain cleaning standards, and support daily facility operations. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, professional, and comfortable leading a team in a large office environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support custodial employees during evening cleaning operations
• Perform custodial duties alongside the team as needed
• Train employees on cleaning procedures, quality expectations, and safety practices
• Monitor work quality and help maintain consistent cleaning standards
• Assist with shift coordination, task assignments, and daily coverage needs
• Maintain cleanliness throughout offices, entrances, hallways, common areas, restrooms, stairwells, and shared spaces
• Support proper use of cleaning supplies, chemicals, backpack vacuums, and floor care equipment
• Communicate professionally with team members, management, and building contacts
• Report facility concerns, supply needs, staffing issues, or equipment problems to management

Requirements

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience required
• Previous supervisor, management, or team lead experience required
• Reliable attendance and strong communication skills
• Ability to lead employees while also performing hands-on cleaning duties
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and follow through on daily responsibilities
• Comfortable working in a large professional office environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, sweep, mop, and move throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Professional and respectful communication with team members, management, and building contacts

Pay: $17 - $18 per hour
