Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients requiring cardiac telemetry monitoring. Administer treatments, assess patient conditions, and coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and respond to arrhythmias promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on care protocols and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe, compliant clinical environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in telemetry nursing or a related cardiac care setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
