As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Security Patrol in Salisbury, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government correctional location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
