Speech Language Pathologist

Under the direction of the Superintendent or designee, provides services to pupils with speech and/or language handicaps within the District. Evaluates student referrals to determine eligibility for speech and/or language services and provides speech and/or language therapy as appropriate.

Requirements / Qualifications

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, including all courses necessary to meet any of the credential requirements to receive license/credential authorizing service as a Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Therapist. Appropriate California credential authorizing service as a Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Therapist. Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in working with children as a Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Therapist or comparable position. Experience in a public school environment desired.
