Job Description:

Requirements:

- Active RN license required

- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required

- Minimum of 1 year RN experience required

- Prior experience with stroke thrombectomy required

- Epic charting system experience required

- Preferred: Trauma Level II experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing support for interventional procedures including angiography and thrombectomy.

- Monitor patients during procedural sedation and administer reversal agents as necessary.

- Assist in sheath removal and monitoring of vascular closure systems.

- Manage hemodynamics and medications, including pressors, antiarrhythmics, and thrombolytics.

- Administer blood products and assist with IV starts and maintenance.

- Recognize EKG and arrhythmia patterns; monitor end-tidal CO2 levels for patient safety.

Compliance / Notes:

- Must complete onboarding items and compliance documents promptly.

- RTO (requests time off) limited to a maximum of 7 days per contract.

- Orientation hours vary by contract length and are not billable.
