We are seeking reliable and hard-working Mill Hands  and Saw Operators to join our production team on 1st and 2nd shift . 

In this role, you will operate saws to cut lumber, manufacture pallets, and organize and stack lumber throughout the mill area. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strict commitment to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Saw Operation: Safely operate industrial saws to cut logs and lumber to specified dimensions for general timber and pallet production.

• Pallet Assembly & Stacking: Cut materials for pallets and assist in assembly; bundle and stack finished lumber neatly in designated mill areas.

• Material Handling: Load, unload, and move raw timber and finished wood products across the mill floor.

• Quality Control: Inspect lumber for defects, splits, or improper dimensions before and after cutting.

• Equipment & Area Maintenance: Perform basic visual checks on equipment, report maintenance issues, and clear sawdust/debris to maintain a clean workspace.

• Safety Adherence: Follow all OSHA and mill safety guidelines, including the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like steel- toe boots, eye protection, and hearing protection.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience working in a lumber mill, construction, manufacturing, or heavy labor environment preferred.

• Prior experience operating cut-off saws, band saws, or industrial woodworking machinery is a plus.

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently and stand/walk for the duration of a shift.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working around heavy equipment.

• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
