Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist to perform blood collections and specimen preparation at a patient service center in Manlius, New York. The role involves working with diverse patient populations, managing specimen processing, and delivering customer service in a Monday-Friday schedule with rotating Saturday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Process specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol testing, and other analyses
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle billing and payment collection
• Travel to additional sites as needed and complete administrative duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• One year or more of phlebotomy experience
• Ability to pass color blindness test
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
• Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills

Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
