Head of Growth Marketing

Role Description

We are hiring our Head of Growth Marketing to build and scale Zicasso’s traveler acquisition engine. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of capital allocation, quantitative strategy, and team building.

• Lead Zicasso’s growth marketing function, spanning PPC, SEO, analytics, and content/landing page development.
• Own our paid acquisition strategy, marketing measurement, and funnel optimization across a multi-million-dollar media budget.
• Partner closely with data science, product, and operations teams to turn modeling into decisions for budget, pipeline, and revenue.
• Possess practitioner-level technical depth across the stack.
• Audit PPC account structures, challenge bidding strategies, and pressure-test attribution models.
• Manage a long, high-consideration purchase cycle with a 30–90 day planning window.
• Utilize Google as a core engine for growth, focusing on sustaining efficiency as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Measurement and capital allocation:
  • Own the top-down quantitative view of all paid media.
  • Use Media Mix Modeling (MMM) and incrementality testing to inform budget allocation, pipeline quality, and revenue planning.
  • Design a multi-layered attribution approach combining MMM, lift studies, geo-holdouts, and platform-level tests.
  • Partner with Data Science to translate business goals into data requirements.
• Channel strategy and experimentation:
  • Own Google strategy as our primary growth channel.
  • Orchestrate full-funnel strategy across Google, Meta, YouTube, Microsoft Ads, and programmatic.
  • Build a structured experimentation pipeline for testing creative, audience, landing page, channel, and bid strategy.
• Team and cross-functional leadership:
  • Lead our growth team of 4-6.
  • Set analytical guardrails for day-to-day platform decisions.
  • Define success as elevating specialists into strategic operators.
  • Partner with Creative, Content, Brand, Product, Data, and Operations to improve performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in growth or performance marketing in high-AOV, high-consideration B2C categories.
• Hands-on experience with MMM, incrementality testing, and multi-touch attribution.
• Experience building attribution or measurement infrastructure from the ground up.
• Experience building repeatable testing systems that connect experiments to budget and roadmap decisions.
• Strong quantitative fluency: SQL, Tableau (or equivalent BI), and advanced spreadsheets.
• Experience leading and developing a senior growth team.
• Executive communication skills to present to senior leadership and defend allocation calls.
