Miller Vein is looking for an energetic, compassionate, and dependable Medical Technician (Med Tech) to join our clinical team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, supporting physicians, and being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.

Our Med Techs play an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience—from preparing patients for their visit to assisting physicians during outpatient vein procedures.

What You'll Do

• Assist physicians during outpatient venous procedures while maintaining proper sterile technique.
• Prepare procedure and exam rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are ready.
• Support patients before, during, and after procedures, helping them feel comfortable, informed, and cared for.
• Perform patient intake, including vital signs, measurements, and clinical photographs .
• Obtain and accurately document patient medical histories and other required clinical information.
• Complete accurate and timely charting and procedure documentation.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care and instructions as directed.
• Clean, disinfect, restock, and prepare clinical and procedure rooms between patients.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering medical and clinical supplies.
• Collaborate with physicians, RVTs, front desk staff, and other team members to maintain efficient patient flow.
• Assist with cosmetic patients and front desk responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and clinic operations.

• Previous medical office, clinical, or patient-care experience preferred.
• Medical Assistant, Med Tech, or other relevant healthcare training/certification is a plus.

Schedule & Locations

This position works four days per week 7 am - 5:30 pm , providing a great work-life balance:

2 days per week – Macomb area
2 days per week – St. Clair Shores

Compensation

Estimated Pay Range: $16–$19 per hour

Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and relevant clinical skills.
