You have come to the right place.Job Description: Branch ManagerThis role will manage and oversee branch personnel and operations, ensuring operational efficiency on a day-to-day basis. The ideal candidate should be excited about building a great team and establishing a good rapport with new and existing clients in the area. A successful candidate will value teamwork, transparency and accountability above all else.Primary Job Tasks & ResponsibilitiesPlan, direct and coordinate the activities of the branch, ensuring operational efficiencies, including but not limited to:Warehousing/Inventory ControlFlooring installationPurchasingCustomer serviceSchedulingImplement and ensure the integrity of operational standards and company policiesPerform regular job inspections to ensure efficiency, quality and safetyMeet or exceed set budgeted operating goals (P&L management)Respond to and effectively manage customer complaints, ensuring exceptional customer service at all timeWork with team members, suppliers and customers to solve specific challenges and leverage growth opportunitiesAnticipate staffing requirements to meet operational needsEffectively onboard, train, inspire and motivate branch employees at all levels, improving retentionEnsure the safety of all employees, seeing that safety rules are followed, hazardous conditions are corrected, and equipment and vehicles are properly maintainedEnsure facility is maintained in a neat and professional mannerEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree preferred10 years of experience in construction management, preferably in operations managementTrack record of building a team and working in a team atmosphereExperience in all facets of management operationsP&L management and collections experienceHighest commitment to customer service and satisfactionResults driven, and customer focusedAbility to multitask and manage multiple projects at onceProficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) QualificationsStrong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detailVery strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external customersStrong written and verbal communication skillsProactively solves problems, developing solutionsEmotional maturityAbility to be extremely effective independentlyProven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of customer serviceDemonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to travel, locally, 40 to 50% Nature and ScopeThis is an exempt, full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
