As a Store Area Team Leader at OSJL, you will ensure that all areas under your responsibility adhere to Company merchandising standards, manage the efficient flow of merchandise, and provide leadership and support to store teams. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Profitability Support Company programs flawlessly to maximize revenue and achieve store goals. Ensure the store runs smoothly in your absence, demonstrating leadership. Daily funds are reconciled according to closing procedures. Backroom Efficiency Lead an efficient freight flow process, maintain a well organized backroom, and achieve a 24‑hour freight turnaround. Leverage technology to maximize scheduling effectiveness in support of freight management. Inventory Management Partner with the Store Team Leader to maintain optimal inventory levels. Ensure proper merchandising and product placement. Merchandising And Freight Management Lead timely and accurate placement of products on the sales floor. Collaborate to implement effective merchandising strategies that drive sales and optimize turnover. Monitor freight flow and ensure products are received, processed, and stocked efficiently. Coordinate the receiving team to ensure accurate receipt and inspection of merchandise. Identify and address any product shortages or overstocks. Foster a Collaborative Team Support recruitment, training, and development of store associates. Identify and nurture high‑potential associates for future growth. Create a stable, knowledgeable team environment where associates feel valued and empowered to succeed. Utilize mobile devices for technology support and operational expectations. Qualifications 4+ years of previous retail management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Experience Proficient in Google platform (Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets). Experience with HCM and Business Intelligence tools. Work Environment Mostly climate‑controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazards. Long periods of standing, moving, and positioning for tasks throughout the shift.
