Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - CA Virtual (FT)

Position Summary:As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health care to adults and older adults. This role supports our mission to provide innovative and compassionate treatment by combining psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and neuromodulation techniques such as TMS and Spravato.Operating within a unified framework of brain health science, you will conduct thorough 90-minute psychiatric diagnostic evaluations paired with Measurement-Based Care in a rapid access clinical environment. Working in tight, real-time alignment with our Care Coordination team, you will diagnose complex psychiatric conditions, initiate and monitor psychopharmacological stabilization, and seamlessly route patients into appropriate care pathways.Location: California - RemoteKey Responsibilities:Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment to adult and older adult population with mental health disorders.Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs.Manage psychiatric disorders using psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and other non-pharmacologic approaches.Maintain an active intake schedule with follow up visits.Utilize measurement based care tools.Collaborate with the other team members to provide optimal care.Identify patients who are appropriate for interventional psychiatry (TMS/SAINT, Spravato) and initiate patient referrals.Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulationsWork closely with a clinical team to receive feedback, improve care, and engage in clinical consultationRequired Qualifications:Masters or Doctorate degree in NursingBoard certification as a PMHNP by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)Familiarity with Measurement-Based Care tools and interventional psychiatry modalities (TMS, esketamine/Spravato, accelerated neurostimulation) is highly preferred.Active DEA registrationCurrent BLS certificationActive and unencumbered NP license and NP furnishing number in California (NP103 status is preferred, but not required).Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume intake environment with dynamic scheduling and tight care coordination workflows.Company Mission & VisionWe are the brain health company of the future that integrates care delivery, technology innovation and research breakthroughs to better understand brain biology and diagnose, treat and ultimately cure brain disorders for all stages of life.Who We AreAt Salma Health, we are transforming the mental and neurological brain healthcare paradigm from a disjointed, one-size-fits-all approach to a comprehensive, end-to-end brain healthcare system featuring advanced diagnostics, evidence-based rapid-acting interventions, and care coordination under one roof.Through a streamlined system of continuous monitoring and support, Salma Health's system will deliver much-needed improved outcomes for conditions such as major depressive disorder, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other conditions with imminent risk, as well as neurodegenerative disorders.Compensation & BenefitsThe compensation for this position includes:Salary: $140,000 annually.
