Complex Claim Advisor – General Product and Liability (Hybrid) Primary Purpose of the Role: To develop targeted solutions and provide technical guidance and oversight to resolve complex claims, ensuring quality improvement and optimal outcomes for stakeholders. Essential Responsibilities Proactively and strategically manage a complex claim inventory, assessing issues and providing oversight to achieve optimal resolution. Serve as subject matter expert for line of business and jurisdictions on complex claim issues. Use claim handling knowledge to evaluate exposure, recommend action plans, and direct resolution strategies. Document clear file notes to communicate issues and resolution paths to stakeholders. Facilitate roundtables with teams and engage internal/external resources as needed. Provide technical leadership and co‑ownership of complex claim issues, fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement. Qualifications & Licensing Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred; industry designation(s) preferred. Experience: Minimum 10 years casualty claims experience or equivalent; at least 5 years handling complex claims; experience in negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or ADR on higher‑value claims; supervisory experience a plus; jurisdictional expertise preferred.
