Senior Manufacturing Technician (Advanced Manufacturing & Troubleshooting)

Johnson & Johnson seeks an experienced Manufacturing Technician III to perform advanced electro-mechanical assembly and integration of robotic surgical modules. This role supports the OTTAVA Surgical Robotic Platform in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment, requiring proficiency with complex assembly, testing, and compliance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electro-mechanical assembly and system-level integration of robotic modules and components
• Conduct functional, electrical, and mechanical testing using calibrated equipment and approved procedures
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rework complex electrical and mechanical issues with minimal supervision
• Document production activities, inspection results, and test outcomes in manufacturing systems
• Support quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with engineering and operations teams

Requirements

• 4+ years medical device or electromechanical capital equipment manufacturing experience
• Proficiency with assembly procedures, mechanical and electrical testing equipment
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA QSR, GDP, and GMP regulatory standards
• Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and work instructions
• Experience with ESD controls and clean manufacturing practices
• Troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical system issues
