Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Evenings, 2:30 PM-11:00 PM
Shift: 5x8s, 40 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend

Position Summary:

The Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist performs complex laboratory testing and analysis within the Blood Bank department to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include specimen processing, operating laboratory instrumentation, maintaining quality control standards, ensuring accurate documentation, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver timely and accurate test results in a clinical hospital laboratory setting.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within specialty
• Blood Bank experience required
• Certification required: ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, or HHS
• Facility will only consider:
  • Medical Technologist (MT)
  • Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
• Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) will not be considered

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred

Additional Information

• No local candidates within 50 miles
• Travel experience preferred
