Front Desk Night Auditor

Courtyard by Marriott in Box Elder, SD, is seeking an Associate to perform front‑desk duties and provide excellent guest service. Responsibilities Make room reservations and check guests in and out of the hotel as needed. Issue room keys, pamphlets, discount cards, etc. Provide information to guests, answering inquiries about hotel services, entertainment, shopping, business, and travel. Ensure confidentiality, security and safety of hotel guests regarding front‑desk communications at all times. Arrange transportation for guests as needed. Compute bills, post charges, collect payment, and give change to guests. Run handwritten and computer reports. Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk and lobby area. Wear a uniform and nametag that meets property standards at all times. Balance all daily reports for the hotel. Post and balance charges in a timely and efficient manner. Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs. Qualifications Strong computer skills and ability to learn hotel property management system(s). Ability to learn front‑desk technical procedures quickly (check‑in, check‑out, selling skills, computer operations, phone operations). Strong communication and listening skills; able to work and communicate effectively with the general public, employees, co‑workers and all levels of management.
