Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Operating Room

Make a Difference Community Hospital North has an excellent opportunity available within our main Operating Room care team located in Indianapolis, IN. The Licensed Practical Nurse will function as a member of the surgical care team. The LPN will be responsible for scrubbing, assist scrubbing, assist circulating team with set up, breaking down surgical procedures, putting away supplies and equipment. You will assist the surgeons and anticipate needs. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications The LPN will possess strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills. Will demonstrate ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task. Will be able to take direction well but also be self directed and motivated. Will possess a high degree of responsibility, responsiveness. Graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing, or graduate from a non-accredited school of practical nursing with three years related professional nursing experience.
