Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a facility. This position involves managing a variety of surgical procedures including vascular, neuro/neurohybrid, thoracic, robotics, transplant, general, orthopedic, hand, spine, podiatry, and gynecology cases. The role requires circulating experience and proficiency in case-specific skills, supporting departmental staff, and adhering to the scheduled shifts and unit protocols.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week, working full-time hours across multiple days as specified.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; circulating experience; proficiency in Foley catheter management, chest tube care, AED operation; 2 years of OR experience; licensed RN or certified Operating Room Technician (Tech).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Robotics Davinci D5 systems, Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and OR-specific equipment such as Bovie, tourniquet, harmonic scalpel, OR beds, stretchers.
• Float: Relieve others for lunch breaks within the OR department.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes a full one-week program or designated shift-based orientation. The facility uses Ceil Blue scrub color and provides free badge access parking. COVID-19 protocols and safety standards must be maintained at all times.
