Spring Valley Health & Rehab is hiring Hospitality Aides to support our care team and residents while you train to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Everyday Superpowers) Support Resident Well-Being: Assist residents with daily activities like meals, hydration, companionship, and mobility—no hands‑on care required at this stage. Provide warm, friendly interactions that brighten our residents' days. Help maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. Be a Key Part of the Team: Work closely with CNAs and nurses to learn care routines and protocols. Provide updates and observations about residents' well‑being to the nursing team. Pitch in where needed to help our community run smoothly. Train to Become a CNA (We’ll Help!): Enroll in a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program, fully supported by our team. Receive hands‑on experience and mentorship as you prepare to take your certification exam. Transition to a CNA role with us upon successful completion! What You Bring to the Table (Besides a Great Attitude) No Experience? No Problem! No CNA certification is required to start—we’ll train you. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. A heart for helping others and a strong desire to grow in senior care. Skills & Strengths: Positive attitude and a team‑first mindset. Compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn. Excellent communication skills and a warm, respectful approach with residents. Physical & Schedule Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with resident movement under supervision.
