Cloud Engineer III

Our client, a leader in cloud infrastructure and enterprise solutions, is seeking a Cloud Engineer III to join their team. As a Cloud Engineer III, you will be part of the Cloud Operations Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Cloud Engineer III Location: Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid) Pay Range: $75/hr - $80/hr W2 What's the Job? Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure and services across public and hybrid cloud environments Build and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure cloud architectures Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using infrastructure-as-code tools Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, availability, and cost optimization Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support application deployment and integration What's Needed? 5-7 years of experience in cloud engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical role Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates) Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud-native architecture principles What's in it for me?
