Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions with clients using video conferencing technology, tailored to their specific needs.
• Encouraging open dialogue about emotions, allowing clients to explore their feelings and experiences in a safe environment.
• Assisting clients in identifying, setting, and achieving therapeutic goals, thereby promoting their personal growth and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse population of clients seeking emotional and psychological support, particularly those who prefer or require remote services. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Hold an independent LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license in Michigan; provisional or limited licenses are not accepted.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills, fostering positive client interactions.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, showcasing a sympathetic nature that builds rapport with clients.
• Be computer literate and comfortable using technology to deliver virtual therapy.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in various therapeutic modalities, familiarity with telehealth practices, and a background in working with diverse client populations will be advantageous.
