A position is available for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide essential communication support in school settings. This role involves travel to various locations within Las Cruces, NM, offering the opportunity to work in diverse educational environments. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting for students, staff, and educational programs, ensuring clear and effective communication.


Responsibilities include:

• Facilitating communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and hearing individuals within the school environment
• Accurately interpreting spoken language into sign language and vice versa during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and participation
• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Traveling to multiple schools as needed within the designated area

Desired qualifications and experience:
