If you are dedicated to ensuring a positive patient experience and have a background in phlebotomy, this role provides an engaging environment to advance your career.– Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in using self-service kiosks or handheld tablets, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience – Support patients in the lobby area, answering questions and addressing concerns with care and compassion – Maintain the integrity of the waiting area and assist with breaks for staff coverage, ensuring a clean, organized, and professional environment – Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures – Accurately record and document patient information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with standards – Collaborate with the team to provide excellent customer service while promoting trust and confidence – Support the overall operational flow by assisting with patient check-ins and other duties as directed by area supervisors– High school diploma or equivalent required – Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience (retail, home health aide, etc.) – Previous phlebotomy experience, even as an intern or extern, is required – Strong keyboard and data entry skills to ensure accurate documentation – Ability to handle patients with care and empathy, creating a positive environment – Excellent communication skills to explain procedures and provide reassurance to patients– Willingness to work both in the lobby assisting with patient check-ins and in the draw room performing phlebotomy procedures – Ability to work flexible shifts, including filling in for breaks and staffing shortages – Experience with specimen collection, including forensic and clinical samples, following established safety and procedural protocols – Completion of a phlebotomy training program or certification is preferred – High level of customer service skills is essential, with a focus on confidentiality and accuracy – Must have a valid high school diploma or equivalent – Prior experience in a healthcare setting or with patient interaction highly desirableTake the next step in your healthcare career by joining a team that values compassion, professionalism, and growth.
