Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly motivated associate to join its Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Group on the Financial Services Team in Tucson, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and experience with various credit facilities and loan transactions. Duties Document, negotiate, and close secured and unsecured credit facilities and loan transactions. Conduct due diligence for construction and real estate secured loans. Manage large commercial and corporate lending transactions from inception through post-closing. Requirements 3-5 years of sophisticated finance experience. Experience with LIHTC or other tax-credit projects preferred. Strong academic credentials and outstanding communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to exceptional client service. Preference for candidates in Colorado or Arizona. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona or eligible for admission. Skills Proven ability to manage complex transactions. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
