American Marine Contractors is looking for a dependable, organized, and hardworking individual to join our team as a Yard Manager . This is a full-time position working Monday–Friday in an outdoor lumber and marine construction environment.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping things organized, communicates well with office staff and crews, and can help keep our yard operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Unload and inspect incoming deliveries

• Operate a lull/forklift to move materials safely

• Organize yard lumber, materials, and storage buildings

• Manage and track inventory levels

• Notify office staff of damaged, missing, or incorrect deliveries

• Communicate when inventory is running low and needs reordered

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient yard

• Assist with general yard operations and other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• General knowledge of tools, lumber, screws, bolts, and construction materials

• Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat and weather conditions

• Experience operating a lull/forklift preferred

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to lift and move materials as needed

• Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to work hard

Position Details:

• Full-Time

• Monday – Friday

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
