Server & Cook – EVEN Hotel Waco

EVEN Hotel Waco is looking for reliable and experienced Servers and Cooks to join our team. Candidates should have previous food and beverage experience , a positive attitude, and the ability to provide excellent service and quality food to our guests.

Shift Hours:

• Breakfast: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• Dinner: 4:30 PM – 11:00 PM

• BEO Events: Must be available to work when Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) are scheduled.

$14 - $16 hourly

• Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations
• Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activities
• Welcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or requests
• Collect correct payment from guests and ensure that the guest check and method of payment are accurate to safeguard both the client and the business from mistakes in transactions
• Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant

• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills
• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
• Previous experience working in food service is preferred
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
