About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 1+ year of EP lab experience License: Current RN License in the state of Missouri Certifications: BLS from AHA, ACLS from AHA preferred Must-Have: Experience scrubbing Electrophysiology cases, including devices and ablations Description: Flu vaccination or an approved exemption is required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1. This role involves working in an Electrophysiology lab. The RN will collaborate with other staff in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. The RN must manipulate angiography equipment and evaluate and process digital images. This position requires the ability to lift, move, and transport patients, as well as continual standing and walking. The RN should be capable of recognizing emergency situations and communicating effectively. The individual will be responsible for the cleaning of necessary equipment and supplies involved in all procedures. When not performing specialized procedures, the RN will carry out routine duties as needed. This role may also involve assisting with pre- and post-procedure patient care. The RN may be responsible for the instruction and training of students and other staff in special procedures. The individual must be able to stand for extended periods while wearing protective gear. This position involves working closely with various medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
