Industrial Maintenance Technician – Gold Coast Linen

To keep our high-volume operations running smoothly, we’re looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician who thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our large-scale laundry and textile processing equipment running at peak performance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Installing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on industrial washers, dryers, ironers, folders, conveyors, boilers, water systems, and supporting plant equipment.
• Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues, including three-phase systems (240V, 380V, 460V).
• Responding quickly to maintenance requests and minimizing equipment downtime.
• Handling urgent, unexpected repairs to keep production on track.
• Performing welding, cutting, hydraulics, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs as needed.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics to diagnose and resolve equipment problems.
• Ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards.

What You’ll Need

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience (laundry or manufacturing environment preferred).
• Strong knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and boiler operations.
• Demonstrated skill in electrical troubleshooting for three-phase systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving production setting.
• Strong problem-solving mindset—seeing challenges as opportunities to improve.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
