Salary: $35 - $40 Hourly
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fleet vehicles, trailers, and construction equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance including oil changes, brake service, tire rotations, fluid changes, and inspections.
- Troubleshoot engine, hydraulic, electrical, fuel, steering, suspension, and brake systems.
- Utilize diagnostic software and specialized tools to identify and repair mechanical issues.
- Complete DOT inspections and ensure equipment remains safe and compliant.
- Maintain accurate repair records and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate repairs to minimize equipment downtime and keep our fleet operating efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, Fleet Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or Truck Mechanic (5+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical diagnostics, brakes, suspension, and preventative maintenance.
- Experience repairing trucks, trailers, and construction equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Proficiency using diagnostic software and repair equipment.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Automotive or Diesel Technician certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a non-CDL Class C license.
