Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled RN - Operating Room for a travel assignment in a busy hospital environment. The role involves providing specialized perioperative care to surgical patients in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Coordinate and prepare patients for surgical procedures by reviewing medical histories and assisting with preoperative assessments.
  
  
• 
  Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operative procedures, ensuring all instruments and supplies are available and sterile.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patients vital signs and respond promptly to any intraoperative changes or complications.
  
  
• 
  Maintain strict sterile techniques and comply with safety protocols to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
  
  
• 
  Document all surgical activities, patient responses, and procedural details accurately in medical records.
  
  
• 
  Ensure proper post-operative care and handover to recovery or inpatient units as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current valid RN license with at least 2 years of operating room experience.
  
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control protocols.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment with excellent attention to detail.
  
  
• 
  Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  
  
• 
  BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  
  
• 
  Ability to adapt quickly to varying hospital policies and procedures.
