Attorney - Civil Litigation

Established (38+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Civil Litigation Attorney for Civil Litigation (Remote)

 

An established firm based in Austin, TX with over 38 years in practice is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team in a remote capacity. This Civil Litigation Attorney will represent clients through all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.

Salary range: $130,000-$160,000+ contingent on experience

Qualifications
Active Texas Bar membership in good standing
3+ years of civil litigation experience in a law firm setting
Experience handling commercial and business litigation matters (preferred)
Insurance Defense background (preferred)

Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Ability to manage cases independently from inception through resolution
Excellent communication skills with clients, opposing counsel, and courts

 

Responsibilities
Handle a full caseload of civil litigation matters including commercial disputes and contract claims
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Conduct depositions and participate in hearings and mediations
Manage cases through all phases of litigation from intake through resolution
Collaborate with partners and litigation teams on strategy and case development
Maintain regular client communication and provide strategic legal advice
