Manufacturing Support Technician
GE HealthCare
Manufacturing Technician supporting Patient Care Solutions repair operations at GE HealthCare's Oak Creek facility. Responsibilities include testing assemblies, conducting diagnostic experiments, troubleshooting complex systems, and maintaining customer communications to restore and extend the life of critical medical technologies.
Responsibilities
- Test production assemblies and sub-assemblies for operation and specification compliance
- Conduct experiments and diagnostic tests to determine root causes and resolve problems
- Construct and evaluate engineering models in collaboration with other departments
- Perform software and hardware evaluation using product and system knowledge
- Provide technical assistance to customers, field service personnel, and suppliers
Requirements
- Associate degree or high school diploma with 2 years technical experience
- Ability to troubleshoot subsystems and systems using logical problem-solving techniques
- Proficiency interpreting basic written technical documentation
- Skill drawing accurate conclusions from test data and deviations
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or technology-related field (desired)
- Experience with Siebel and Oracle systems (desired)
- Patient Care Solutions product knowledge (desired)
