Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a dynamic medical environment, with a focus on promoting patient care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments on patients.
• Administer IV medications, including management of Lasix drips, heparin drips, and insulin administration.
• Provide wound care, including drain management and VAC therapy.
• Manage care for NGT, G-tubes, and parenteral nutrition.
• Conduct central line management, including PICC, HD catheters, and midlines.
• Provide foley, nephrostomy, and suprapubic catheter care.
• Deliver ostomy care and postoperative patient management.
• Participate in daily Multidisciplinary Rounds (MDRs) on day shifts Monday through Friday.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License.
• BLS certification.
• Demonstrated Med/Surg skillset with experience in orthopedics.
• Ability to work with various medical equipment, including Hoyer lifts, automated BP machines, and remote telemetry monitoring.
