As a Personal Care Aide, you will:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene

• Assist with medication reminders and medication administration as permitted by state regulations

• Help residents with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning

• Serve meals and assist residents with feeding when needed

• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the nursing team

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

• Build positive relationships with residents and their families

• Encourage resident independence while providing compassionate support

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment

• Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights policies at all times

• High school diploma or GED required

• Pennsylvania Personal Care Aide training or willingness to complete required training

• Previous experience working with seniors or in healthcare preferred

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently while following established care plans

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and transfer up to 25 pounds safely

• Has a passion for caring for seniors

• Treats every resident with dignity, kindness, and respect

• Works well as part of a team

• Is dependable and committed to providing exceptional care

• Brings a positive attitude to work every day
