Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Veterinary Technician role located near the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The Veterinary Technician will assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures, including the safe handling and restraint of animals. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patient health, administering medications, collecting lab samples, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment. The role also involves supporting client communication by explaining treatment plans, home care instructions, and preventive care recommendations in a clear and thoughtful manner. The Veterinary Technician will collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver high-quality medical care and a welcoming experience for pets and their families. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Animal Care and Pet Care skills, including safe handling, monitoring, and compassionate treatment of small animals. Candidates should possess Veterinary Technology skills, such as assisting with exams, performing basic diagnostic tests, and supporting surgical procedures. Candidates should possess Anesthesiology-related skills, including monitoring patients under anesthesia and supporting pain management protocols under veterinary supervision. Candidates should possess Client Education skills, including the ability to communicate treatment plans, preventive care, and home-care instructions clearly and professionally. Relevant qualifications may include completion of a veterinary technology program and prior experience in a small-animal veterinary setting.
