Job Description
RN - Critical Care

Schedule:
Full-Time 3x12 day shift (7a-7:30p) with holiday and weekend rotations.

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Requirements:
- License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required through AHA or RQI system. NIHSS certification required. Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire. CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in MedSurg/Tele/Critical Care units.
- Additional: Must be cross-trained for multiple units (Med/Surg, ICU, ER).

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in critical and acute conditions.
- Assess patients to identify their care needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate patient treatment plans and follow-ups.
- Monitor and document patient progress, response to treatment, and overall condition.
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.

Compliance / Notes:
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to manage multiple priorities and enhance teamwork through role modeling.
