Maintenance Manager

An established and growing food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations, improve equipment reliability, and support continued growth within a high-volume production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a skilled maintenance team
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Oversee troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment
• Drive equipment reliability initiatives to reduce downtime and improve plant performance
• Support installation, startup, and optimization of new production lines and equipment
• Manage capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, food safety, and regulatory standards
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve results
• Maintain maintenance records, CMMS systems, and work order processes
• Partner with production and operations leadership to maximize efficiency and throughput

Qualifications

Required

• 6+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience managing maintenance teams and plant-wide maintenance operations
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Three-phase motors
  • 120V-480V electrical systems
  • PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Automated manufacturing or packaging equipment
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Proven track record of improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Food, beverage, bakery, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing experience
• PLC programming and controls troubleshooting experience
• Boiler and steam system knowledge
• Robotics and automation experience
• TIG and Stick welding experience
• Bilingual Spanish skills

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
