Caregiver Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a caregiver at Senior Helpers - Greater San Antonio, you will provide essential support and companionship to seniors, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. This role requires a kind heart, patience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care tailored to each client's needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor clients' health and well-being.
• Offer companionship and emotional support through engaging conversation and activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social events as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to pass background and reference checks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a genuine desire to help seniors.
• Flexible schedule to meet clients' needs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
