Direct message the job poster from Palmer Legal Staffing A well-known Medical Malpractice/Personal Injury D.C. law firm is in search of a seasoned Senior Legal Assistant with at least 5 to 7 years of experience working for a senior partner plaintiff attorney. During the initial period of hire, the work schedule will be full time with a transfer to a hybrid work schedule as experience in the role grows. Salary will be dependent on experience. Firm has a wonderful firm culture and excellent benefits. Status: Direct Hire Salary: Up to $80K DOE Duties and Responsibilities: The fast-paced position requires the use of software systems and databases to monitor deadlines and ensure the timely filing of all legal documents. Preparing legal documents Court filings Maintaining client files Job Requirements: At least 5 to 7 years of experience working for a senior partner plaintiff attorney Previous experience in medical malpractice/ personal injury litigation is required. The successful candidate will be part of a small team working side by side with partner and associate attorneys. Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, organized and work well with others Collaborative and reliable, able to work effectively as part of a team Positive and results-focused, contributing to the success of the legal team.
