Position Overview For the location in Marktheidenfeld, we are looking for a Test Engineer (f/m/d) specializing in industrial communication on Ethernet‑based networks. The role focuses on the execution of hardware system tests for industrial Internet of Things and Industry 4.0 solutions. Key Information Where: Marktheidenfeld Duration: Permanent position Vacation: 30 days Weekly hours: 40 hours Your IMPACT Cooperate with various international R&D product areas for specification and implementation of industrial protocols. Ensure internal certification of equipment and support product areas in external certifications according to Schneider Electric standards. Work with experts on definition of existing and new interoperability test strategies. Ensure interoperability of industry assets and solutions by supporting the creation and implementation of general rules, requirements and internal standards through interoperability and certification tests. Your Profile Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Computer Engineering or comparable apprenticeship. Good knowledge of communication systems in automation technology (e.g., EtherNet/IP). Experience in automation technology including device integration into software products. Knowledge of PLC programming languages. Curiosity to discover and apply new technologies. Fluent written and spoken English; German is an advantage.
