Resident Service Coordinator

Job Summary

We are hiring Resident Service Coordinators for direct hire opportunities in Los Angeles, CA, supporting residents in Permanent Supportive Housing and Intensive Case Management Services environments. As a Resident Service Coordinator, you will work under supportive leadership and collaborate with residents, staff, and community partners to connect individuals with essential services. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct resident needs assessments and identify appropriate supportive services and community resources.
- Develop and coordinate onsite programs that connect residents to housing stability, health, wellness, entitlement, and social services.
- Build partnerships with community organizations, service providers, and local agencies to bring resources directly to residents.
- Track resident outcomes, collect service data, maintain documentation, and support compliance with reporting requirements.
- Facilitate community meetings, mediate conflicts, and coordinate social or recreational activities that promote resident engagement.
- Build trust-based relationships with residents, property staff, case management teams, and community partners.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Annual salary range: $43,680 to $49,900 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Conduct resident assessments and connect residents with appropriate services and resources.
- Coordinate community meetings, resident programs, and onsite supportive service activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation, data tracking, and reporting for program compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external community partners to support resident stability.

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field, or 2 or more years of experience in social services, community development, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience preferred for this level of role.
- Knowledge of Los Angeles County services and federal or state entitlement programs.
- Experience working with diverse populations, community groups, and individuals with complex service needs.
- Strong facilitation, problem-solving, mediation, collaboration, and advocacy skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and communicate with professionalism and empathy.
- Commitment to resident-centered service, inclusion, and community empowerment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting seniors, individuals with mental health needs, or individuals with substance use disorder histories.
- Experience with crisis intervention, community engagement, and resident services in housing environments.
- Familiarity with G.I.R.P. documentation, Trauma-Informed Care, Harm Reduction, and the Housing First model.
- Experience with HMIS, ICMS, and Champ systems.
- Prior experience in Permanent Supportive Housing or Intensive Case Management Services settings.
