Physical Therapist (PT) - OutpatientThis PT role in outpatient clinics delivers rehabilitation services to individuals with musculoskeletal, sport, or neurological conditions to restore function and prevent recurrence.The position emphasizes patient education, goal-directed therapy, and coordination with the broader care team for timely follow-up.ResponsibilitiesAssess and treat musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions; create individualized therapy plans.Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education on activity modification.Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans to meet goals.Coordinate with physicians, athletic trainers, and therapists to optimize care and referrals.Educate patients on home exercises and injury prevention strategies.QualificationsEducation: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent; state licensure required.Licensure: Current PT license in the United States.Certifications:CPR/BLSNBCOT certification is common but not mandatoryExperience or Skills: Experience in outpatient rehabilitation with strong evaluation and communication skills.Experience1-3 years in outpatient PTExperience with diverse patient populations and conditionsPreferredSpecialization in sports or hand therapyExperience with telehealth or digital home exercise programsWork EnvironmentAmbulatory clinics with scheduled appointments and potential for early morning or late afternoon slots.Documentation in EHR and collaboration with referring physicians and clinical staff.
