Great Medicine. Great People.

Looking for a veterinary clinic where you're more than just another employee? Come join us at Leander Veterinary Clinic.

We're a locally owned, independent veterinary practice with five doctors, a beautiful, modern 8,000-square-foot facility, and a team that's passionate about providing exceptional care to pets and their people.

Our motto is "Where Pets Are Family," and we believe in taking care of our team, too!

We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Veterinary Technician with at least one year of veterinary technician experience who enjoys working with animals, thrives in a team environment, and wants to continue developing their skills.

You don't have to know everything! We value a great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn just as much as technical skills.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 1 year of veterinary technician experience required

• Strong animal handling and restraint skills

• Experience assisting with veterinary procedures and patient care

• Familiarity with laboratory testing, radiology, dentistry, and surgical procedures

• Friendly, compassionate, and professional with clients and coworkers

• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment

• Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to jump in wherever needed

• Eagerness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities

• Experience with AVImark is a plus, but not required

Experience with anesthesia monitoring, IV catheter placement, and advanced technical procedures is a plus, but we're happy to provide training to help you expand your skills.

Licensed Veterinary Technicians are encouraged to apply, but licensure is not required!

Why You'll Love Working Here

We're independent and proud of it! No corporate ownership, no outside investors. Just a locally owned veterinary practice that values its people, encourages teamwork, and believes in practicing great medicine.

We offer opportunities to learn from experienced veterinarians, build your confidence, and develop your technical skills in a busy, collaborative environment.
