We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to support the organization's financial operations across multiple locations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reconciliations, supporting the month-end close process, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting.

The Accountant will partner closely with operational teams and internal stakeholders to review financial activity, identify and resolve discrepancies, support cash management processes, and deliver timely, accurate reporting. This position also contributes to audits, fixed asset management, process improvements, and internal control initiatives that help drive efficiency and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and record recurring and non-recurring journal entries.

• Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations, account analysis, and financial reporting.

• Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, investigate discrepancies, and record necessary adjustments.

• Verify daily cash deposits and ensure cash balances are accurately reflected in accounting records.

• Record daily cash, credit card, and miscellaneous deposit activity for multiple locations.

• Analyze financial data and investigate variances to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.

• Support fixed asset tracking, classification, and related accounting processes.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen processes, and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting.

• Partner with operations teams to resolve accounting issues and validate financial activity.

• Maintain organized, complete, and audit-ready financial documentation.

Qualifications:

• Must have 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a management accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant or similar
• Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
