A reputable healthcare organization in the Worcester area is seeking a detail-oriented and professional  Bilingual Medical Administrative Assistant (English/Spanish) to join its growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about delivering excellent administrative support while ensuring clear communication with a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients with professionalism, empathy, and cultural sensitivity
• Communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars efficiently
• Answer and route incoming calls, addressing patient inquiries in both languages
• Verify insurance coverage and maintain accurate patient information
• Complete patient registration and intake documentation
• Accurately maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR)
• Assist with translating basic patient information, forms, and instructions as needed
• Process referrals, prior authorizations, and medical records requests
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations
• Perform general administrative duties including scanning, filing, and data entry

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a medical administrative or healthcare office setting
• Fluency in both English and Spanish (required)
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks, Athena, or similar preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Experience with insurance verification and scheduling preferred
