Location: Athens, GA, United States

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviewing and submitting all inventories Meat, Packaging, Ingredients and HIBE
• Comparing and balancing our two production systems
• Reconciling the production day for both plants and researching/resolving any and all discrepancies
• Reviewing orders/returns and posting poundage to ensure our systems match to shipments, inbounds and inventories reported
• Reconciling and producing all API inventories and Orders
• Communication with Operations, Plant Team and Accounting Team Members to report accurate information efficiently and timely
• Backing up for other areas and departments as needed
• Other duties as required by management and supervision
• Performing internal Audits every Quarter and as needed throughout the year This does happen on a weekend
• Reconciling, researching and confirming all inventoried not only within the plant but every freezer location as well
• Will need to rotate and cover all clerk positions including but not limited to payroll and live processing
• Help and assist manager and supervisor in any tasks needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years clerical accounting experience preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
• Must be able to examine and verify financial documents and reports
• Must be able to prepare a variety of reports and analyses
• Knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP system, Excel and Microsoft
• Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, methods and equipment
• Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and practices
• Must be able to work well under pressure, multi-task and work with large groups of Team Members

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED; Associates Degree preferred
